You already hold
every answer
you're searching for.
I'm here to help you find them — with honesty, empathy, and the occasional kick in the ass. Backed with 30 years of living proof that real change is possible.
Work With Me My Story"Most coaches have studied the answers. I've lived them — and spent thirty years putting them to work in my own life. That's the difference."
Meet Amy — Founder
I didn't arrive at coaching through a textbook. I arrived through the hardest years of my life — doing the deep, painful work of understanding why I was in so much pain, and deciding that if my life was going to continue at all, something had to fundamentally change.
What followed was three decades of putting that work into practice — not just studying it, but metabolizing it. Building a life I actually wanted. Learning that emotional honesty and courage are both required to experience the changes you wish to see in your life. And the good news, we are all stronger and braver than we know.
Now I help others by helping them remember the answers that live within them. My style is genuine, direct, and deeply empathetic. I'll call you on your blind spots — gently — and I'll never pretend I have a formula for your life.
Based in Needham, Massachusetts, I work with clients across Greater Boston — Newton, Wellesley, Dedham, and beyond — both in person and online.
I'm currently completing my coaching certification with Martha Beck, whose core belief mirrors my own: the answers lie within you, and our job is to help you excavate them.
Results
These aren't credentials on a wall. They're the results of the same inner work Amy now helps her clients do.
"The reason I share these milestones isn't to impress you — it's to show you concrete evidence of what this work can actually do for a life. These are the direct results of the same inner work I now help my clients do. I also believe deeply that when you hire a coach, you deserve to know they've genuinely been in the trenches themselves. So I'll always encourage you to ask any coach or professional you consider working with: how has this work shown up in your own life?"
Amy founded and led a 200-person company, building a culture that deliberately rejected toxic business norms. She called out practices she didn't believe in, grew it to a successful eight-figure exit — then walked away when it no longer felt aligned, because she knew herself well enough to know when to move on.
Amy learned to see her parents clearly — what they could offer and what they couldn't — and found a way to genuinely enjoy them without needing them to be different.
She built her relationship with her children in a way that broke patterns that had run through her family for generations — for herself, her parents, and her kids.
Recognizing the limitations of her first marriage, Amy made the hard choice to leave — knowing that staying would mean living a fraction of the life she was capable of.
She went back to school at forty years old for something completely different than her first degree and her first career. Within a year of graduating, she launched her own company — built entirely around her values.
My Approach
I listen without presuming your path looks like mine or anyone else's. My job is to understand where you're getting stuck, not to talk at you with a script.
If we're working together and I don't see forward momentum, I'll tell you — gently, but clearly. You deserve honesty over comfort. That's my obligation to you.
You have to feel the hard stuff, and you also will learn that you have the capacity to move forward.
If you are as confused as I am with all of the therapeutic coaching speak in today's world, I commit to you to speak plainly and help you change in very practical ways.
I offer perspective. I trust your instincts. What resonates, take it. What doesn't, leave it. You're the expert on your own life — I'm here to help you remember that.
Bring all of it — vulnerable, ambitious, exhausted, hopeful. The goal is for you to feel like you came home.
Who This Is For
"If I could offer anyone a truth, it would be that you can grow your capacity to experience all that life offers. The love, the heartbreak, the awe of it all. So that when you get to your final days, you are filled with a contentment that only comes from living the life that was meant for you and you alone."
— Amy Doherty
